Submissions to the International Competition

- Fiction and animation short-films;
- Fiction and animation feature films;
- Documentaries;
- Videos;
Only films made after 1st of January 2008 and which have not competed in any previous Portuguese festival are eligible to enter the competition.
More than a decade bringing together in the summer of Avanca some of the most significant films and authors of the audiovisuals and international cinema production.
